Hey All! I’m so excited to push the button on this first post that will no doubt go into cyber space with maybe a viewer or two. My hope is that this will turn into four then maybe ten then eventually a LOT more viewers.
So what is My Teacher Craft?
It’s a collaborative website that features down to earth advice from teachers in the trenches of real life teaching with real life results. Honesty is the name of the game and I’m not afraid to share what I’ve learned, what I want to learn, and how I’ve accomplished some of the milestones in my teaching career.
What am I going to get out of My Teacher Craft?
I’ve found that many of the teaching websites out in blogger land focus on the early years of education but few on the life of high school teachers. This website is for ANY teacher but you will notice that many of the tips, tricks, solutions, and other advice will be geared more towards those in the middle and high school grades. That doesn’t mean you should leave if you’re NOT a middle or high school teacher – I also want to tackle the elements of professional development, administration, teacher relationships, evaluations, and a whole host of other overriding teacher related topics.
How is My Teacher Craft different?
My voice may be the spokesvoice (is that even a word?) but you will find my fellow teachers chiming in and sharing their specialties and wisdom. Collaboration is the key and I welcome readers who want to contribute or collaborate to contact me!
